AND the baby shower!!

I forgot to add pictures from my WONDERFUL baby shower!! But you only get to see 2 pictures cause these are the only ones I'm smiling in and don't have my mouth wide open or my eyes shut :)

My sister in law Danica, threw me the cutest shower ever! The theme was "She is about to POP" and she decorated it all in popcorn theme and we had a popcorn bar with all sorts of different flavors of popcorn. The weather was AWFUL and was a complete white out blizzard so I missed a lot of people but it was still so much fun!

What the Batty's have been up to!

We have been doing so much fun stuff before our little man gets here! Here are some things we've done that have been a BLAST!! I threw in some pregnant belly pictures too!


So for Christmas I was able to get tickets from our good friends Bree and Dustin to a Jazz game! I had never gone before so I think I was more excited to give Colby the tickets then he was to receive them. It was the Jazz and Celtics game and it was soo intense!!

I have never been ice fishing before so Colby thought it would be a good idea to go before the baby gets here! Let me tell you what it was a BLAST!!! Way more fun then regular fishing!! Here is Bree, Korv and Me inside Dustin's sweet ice fishing tent! (I would have froze with out it)

Baby Boy

Well there you have it! We our having a little boy! I knew all along that he was a little man but I am guilty and I was hoping for a little girl. When you don't know for sure what they are you can always hope right...even if you know what they are! But shockingly as bad as I wanted a girl when the ultrasound tech said well you have the legs and then... there is something in between all I could feel was happiness! He's going to be my little man, my buddy, mommy's protector and most of all his daddy's best friend. (weird I can cry over everything! I'm just glad this is a blog so you don't have to sit through the sobs :) ) He is going to have so much fun with his other 2 boy cousins who will be his same age! We have decided to name him Korver Brooks Batty. I know its different but we love it so for all of those who don't like it (especially my in laws) WE DON'T CARE! :) He checked out just as perfect as can be expected and he is still right on track to come April 13th! Because I'm a mama bear ALREADY I'm not going to put his ultrasound picture on here that PROVES he's a boy cause that's personal! :) but in this side profile if you don't believe its a boy there is an extra arrow with no label... and you can guess what that is :) We are so excited to know what he is and to call him by his name and yes we have already gone shopping... maybe a little too much! I'm so excited to have our family even out! Colby and Korver and me and Andi! 2 boys and 2 girls. We are pretty much complete!

Last weekend I went up to Lehi to visit my Sister Desi, and her family and my brother Dusty and his wife Emmi. All 3 of us are pregnant! Desi is due December 11, Emmi is due February 8th and I'm due April 13th, so we are all about 2 months from each other. It was not planned.. AT ALL it just happened this way! Desi and Emmi are having boys and we will find out in a couple days what we are having. We decided to get pictures taken since this would probably be the last time we were all pregnant together before Desi has her baby so here we are...

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun! This year was mine and Colby's first Halloween together! He is usually in Colorado on his yearly hunt but I lucked out this year! I was bat girl (a pregnant one.. weird i know) and Colby was a skanky devil mistress and our little baby was the CUTEST bumble bee ever! Andi looks miserable in her costume but she was such a good sport!

Baby Batty :)

That's right! We are expecting our little baby on April 12th. We are so thrilled and scared all at the same time! I'm sure everyone feels this way with their first.........right? :) Colby is so cute with the whole thing. Even with all the hormonal changes and getting FAT he is so sweet! He can't wait to be a daddy and is so excited! Andi just knows there is something wrong with her mom. She freaks and gets so scared when I'm constantly running to the bathroom and having awful scary sounds coming out of my mouth. Or just lying helplessly on the couch. She's a trooper though. She is by my side all day (when I'm not working or in between clients) and is by my side all night. She doesn't know whats going on but she knows there's something! I'm excited to have her be a big sister! She's probably not going to like it but that should only last a couple days... or weeks.....we're hoping! :)

Summer Fun

Camping Trip

I know I'm the biggest blog slacker... EVER! This is going to be the longest blog in all of history because we had such a fun summer!! To start summer off I promised Colb I would go camping with him. He always complains how I'm so "high maintenance" and so to prove him wrong camping I would go... On one condition; that was if there was a tent. We decided we would go with our friends Rob and Rachel, the experts of camping :) I was working all afternoon so I told Colby to get all of our stuff ready so we could leave right as soon as I got done. Before we left I double checked with him to make sure he got the tent and he said yes. I also asked him if I should get a blow up mattress so we could sleep on it and he gave me a look like.. you're kidding right!? So I said okay okay I can rough it up! Well we got headed up the mountain and it was pretty late and we were 5 min. from our camping site and 2 hours out of Cedar when Rob made the comment "I love sleeping under the stars in the mountains." Of coarse I'm thinking they're crazy for sleeping under the stars and I checked with Colby a third time and said "You got our tent.. right Hunny?" There was a pause before he responded "Nope, we're sleeping under the stars too." If you could only have heard what was going threw my mind!! I didn't say anything because I didn't want Rob and Rachel to think I was a baby because Rachel is pregnant and doing this.. why couldn't I. Then no kidding 2 minutes later Colby starts FREAKING out and saying "oh heck" and "you've got to be kidding me" and a bunch of other phrases and put me in a panic and I started asking him what was wrong. He then told me how he forgot our sleeping bags and they were in the back of his truck (which was in Cedar) and so there we are.. NO TENT, NO SLEEPING BAGS all out in the wilderness! We were to far out of town to turn around and our friends just said oh just share ours. We'll zip our 2 together and all share. :) They are so sweet for bailing us out! To make things worse because I put Colby in charge of getting our food.. he didn't! Rachel made extra dinners for us and as a wife I felt so stupid because usually we have things together like tents, sleeping bags, food for the trip ya know the essentials. This trip showed me to never trust Colby about "roughing" it cause he REALLY means it and he is willing to lie (about having a tent and really not) to get me to go somewhere AND never leave him in charge of a woman's job! Even though we went completely unprepared it was so much fun! We had so many fun pictures but they all got deleted because they were on Colby's camera and he deleted them so deer and elk pictures would fit.... :) I love that man!

At the end of June I was able to go to Lake Powell for a couple days with my sister and her 2 boys and my parents. We had so much fun just the 6 of us! We were planning on spending a whole week there but Desi could only stay a couple of days. Since I had the whole week off I decided to go up to Lehi for the rest of the week and spend more time with her and her family. I was able to be up there for my nephew Mckoy's birthday and the 4th of July. It was such a fun getaway! I wish we lived closer so we could play more!!

4th of July

For my birthday I decided for my whole family to go up to Lagoon on my actual birthday. It was so much fun everyone came except my sister-in-law Danica. We had Cake and Ice Cream the night before we all went to Lagoon. I have the most wonderful, amazing family a girl could ask for!!
