Korver's Blessing

Korver was blessed on June 5, 2011. Not only was he the most handsome little man in a white tux I've ever seen he had a glow about him the whole day. It was a beautiful day and Colby did the most OUTSTANDING blessing I have ever heard. Now I'm not just saying that because he is my husband and he blessed my child (even though that has a pretty big part of it) people from our ward complimented him on it for weeks and weeks and weeks! Colby prepared for Korv's blessing for a long time spiritually and mentally. He was so worried he would miss something or not say what he wanted but the blessing was seriously flawless. I am so blessed to have such an amazing priesthood holder as my husband and I'm so grateful he could bless our son. What an amazing day!

Korver's first bath experience couldn't have gone better! HE LOVED IT! He was so content. We had to wait about 15 days after he was born to have his first bath because his belly button cord wanted to stay on forever!! Maybe that's why he handled his first bath so well was cause he was a little bit older... or it could be that he is just the perfect baby!
He has his daddy's nose for sure! :)
 Look at those tiny toes!!

So BLESSED!

I know I'm not the best on keeping my blog updated! But after a day of "blog stocking" I can't resist but to express how extremely grateful I am for a loving Heavenly Father who has blessed me and my little family so much! I have never experienced a trial that ever seemed like a "TRIAL". I look around and see what families go through and how strong they are after losing a child, or a wife or even both! Reading their stories and what they have to endure makes my trials so small and so insignificant. I am so blessed with a WONDERFUL Husband who loves me and provides for me and holds the priesthood so we can have that amazing power in our home. He is so gentle when he kisses or touches me and never lets a day pass without telling me how beautiful I am to him and how much he loves me and how I'm a good mom to our sweet baby. Which all of these things I feel so inadequate and feel I will never measure up, he sees through that and reminds me EVERY day. I love him so much and I'm so lucky I have him for eternity. I don't know what I would ever do with out him and I'm so happy he is mine. My most recent blessing was my little angelic baby boy. I was so blessed to be able to get pregnant so easily. So many family members and close friends are not as lucky as we were, and my heart aches for them. My pregnancy was "perfect" as much as I absolutely hated being pregnant I was 100% healthy and my baby was 100% healthy in EVERY WAY. My delivery was outstanding and he came so quick and I was in ZERO pain. He started breathing right off the get go and adapting to this harsh world like a champ!! He is 3 weeks and 1 day old today and he has passed all of his tests and check ups with flying colors and he honestly couldn't be more perfect and healthy! Heavenly Father blessed me with this sweet angel. He doesn't cry and when he is trying to tell me something, he is SO patient while I'm trying to figure our whats wrong or what he needs. He snuggles with me and lets me squeeze him and kiss him and he lets me do it over and over and over again because I can't get enough. I feel so amazingly blessed and I am so grateful for this wonderful opportunity Heavenly Father has given me to have my own little ETERNAL FAMILY.
