Baby Boy

Well there you have it! We our having a little boy! I knew all along that he was a little man but I am guilty and I was hoping for a little girl. When you don't know for sure what they are you can always hope right...even if you know what they are! But shockingly as bad as I wanted a girl when the ultrasound tech said well you have the legs and then... there is something in between all I could feel was happiness! He's going to be my little man, my buddy, mommy's protector and most of all his daddy's best friend. (weird I can cry over everything! I'm just glad this is a blog so you don't have to sit through the sobs :) ) He is going to have so much fun with his other 2 boy cousins who will be his same age! We have decided to name him Korver Brooks Batty. I know its different but we love it so for all of those who don't like it (especially my in laws) WE DON'T CARE! :) He checked out just as perfect as can be expected and he is still right on track to come April 13th! Because I'm a mama bear ALREADY I'm not going to put his ultrasound picture on here that PROVES he's a boy cause that's personal! :) but in this side profile if you don't believe its a boy there is an extra arrow with no label... and you can guess what that is :) We are so excited to know what he is and to call him by his name and yes we have already gone shopping... maybe a little too much! I'm so excited to have our family even out! Colby and Korver and me and Andi! 2 boys and 2 girls. We are pretty much complete!

Last weekend I went up to Lehi to visit my Sister Desi, and her family and my brother Dusty and his wife Emmi. All 3 of us are pregnant! Desi is due December 11, Emmi is due February 8th and I'm due April 13th, so we are all about 2 months from each other. It was not planned.. AT ALL it just happened this way! Desi and Emmi are having boys and we will find out in a couple days what we are having. We decided to get pictures taken since this would probably be the last time we were all pregnant together before Desi has her baby so here we are...

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun! This year was mine and Colby's first Halloween together! He is usually in Colorado on his yearly hunt but I lucked out this year! I was bat girl (a pregnant one.. weird i know) and Colby was a skanky devil mistress and our little baby was the CUTEST bumble bee ever! Andi looks miserable in her costume but she was such a good sport!

That's right! We are expecting our little baby on April 12th. We are so thrilled and scared all at the same time! I'm sure everyone feels this way with their first.........right? :) Colby is so cute with the whole thing. Even with all the hormonal changes and getting FAT he is so sweet! He can't wait to be a daddy and is so excited! Andi just knows there is something wrong with her mom. She freaks and gets so scared when I'm constantly running to the bathroom and having awful scary sounds coming out of my mouth. Or just lying helplessly on the couch. She's a trooper though. She is by my side all day (when I'm not working or in between clients) and is by my side all night. She doesn't know whats going on but she knows there's something! I'm excited to have her be a big sister! She's probably not going to like it but that should only last a couple days... or weeks.....we're hoping! :)

Summer Fun

Camping Trip

I know I'm the biggest blog slacker... EVER! This is going to be the longest blog in all of history because we had such a fun summer!! To start summer off I promised Colb I would go camping with him. He always complains how I'm so "high maintenance" and so to prove him wrong camping I would go... On one condition; that was if there was a tent. We decided we would go with our friends Rob and Rachel, the experts of camping :) I was working all afternoon so I told Colby to get all of our stuff ready so we could leave right as soon as I got done. Before we left I double checked with him to make sure he got the tent and he said yes. I also asked him if I should get a blow up mattress so we could sleep on it and he gave me a look like.. you're kidding right!? So I said okay okay I can rough it up! Well we got headed up the mountain and it was pretty late and we were 5 min. from our camping site and 2 hours out of Cedar when Rob made the comment "I love sleeping under the stars in the mountains." Of coarse I'm thinking they're crazy for sleeping under the stars and I checked with Colby a third time and said "You got our tent.. right Hunny?" There was a pause before he responded "Nope, we're sleeping under the stars too." If you could only have heard what was going threw my mind!! I didn't say anything because I didn't want Rob and Rachel to think I was a baby because Rachel is pregnant and doing this.. why couldn't I. Then no kidding 2 minutes later Colby starts FREAKING out and saying "oh heck" and "you've got to be kidding me" and a bunch of other phrases and put me in a panic and I started asking him what was wrong. He then told me how he forgot our sleeping bags and they were in the back of his truck (which was in Cedar) and so there we are.. NO TENT, NO SLEEPING BAGS all out in the wilderness! We were to far out of town to turn around and our friends just said oh just share ours. We'll zip our 2 together and all share. :) They are so sweet for bailing us out! To make things worse because I put Colby in charge of getting our food.. he didn't! Rachel made extra dinners for us and as a wife I felt so stupid because usually we have things together like tents, sleeping bags, food for the trip ya know the essentials. This trip showed me to never trust Colby about "roughing" it cause he REALLY means it and he is willing to lie (about having a tent and really not) to get me to go somewhere AND never leave him in charge of a woman's job! Even though we went completely unprepared it was so much fun! We had so many fun pictures but they all got deleted because they were on Colby's camera and he deleted them so deer and elk pictures would fit.... :) I love that man!

At the end of June I was able to go to Lake Powell for a couple days with my sister and her 2 boys and my parents. We had so much fun just the 6 of us! We were planning on spending a whole week there but Desi could only stay a couple of days. Since I had the whole week off I decided to go up to Lehi for the rest of the week and spend more time with her and her family. I was able to be up there for my nephew Mckoy's birthday and the 4th of July. It was such a fun getaway! I wish we lived closer so we could play more!!

For my birthday I decided for my whole family to go up to Lagoon on my actual birthday. It was so much fun everyone came except my sister-in-law Danica. We had Cake and Ice Cream the night before we all went to Lagoon. I have the most wonderful, amazing family a girl could ask for!!

So even though this was a long post and it took me forever to post it all and as you all can see I had a GREAT GREAT GREAT summer! Thanks to my family and friends!!

Strep.. IN JUNE!!

So I know everyone who is reading this post is thinking.. why is Andi the picture for my step in June post? Well here we go! About 2 weeks ago I started getting a headache and sore throat and I joked with my mom that I had Strep cause my throat was killing me. So the sweet mom she is called the Doctor and got me an appointment that morning. Well come to find out I did have strep and I haven't had it in... 10 years or more. Needless to say it sucks and its awful and if I never have it again it will be too soon! Well here comes the part about my little Andi. On Thursday me and Colby took a road trip to Flagstaff and Andi stayed home with Grandma and when we got home my mom said she just wanted to be held ALL day so I knew something was going on. Well from Friday to Monday she had an extremely high fever and would gulp really hard every time she tried to swallow. She wouldn't move and all she wanted to do was snuggle up in my "blankey"... (that she thinks is hers) :) and sleep. She was the sickest little dog. So from the lack of food and water she had no energy to even lift her head just open and close her eyes. Anyone who knows Andi knows she gets sick.. ALL the time. It's always because she eats human food or something other then her dog food and her little sensitive stomach just can't handle it. So Colby and I debated on taking her to the Doctor because if they told us she got into something one more time we would flip out! But deep down I knew she had a different sickness cause I've never seen her THIS sick before. So Colby took her to the Doctor while I was in St. George and the Doctor said she had a very high fever which is really scary for such little dogs and that I had given her my Strep throat. Although they don't call it Strep throat for dogs they just call it a bacterial infection. So she got some Amoxacillon (same thing my Doctor gave me for my strep throat) and she has had 3 doses of it so far and today she is a new little girl! She is up and walking around, wagging her little tail and chewing on her bone (which is what she is known for)! Thank goodness she is doing better! She had her parents, papa and grandma, great grandma Bulloch and Bubba, Danica and Harley SOOOO WORRIED! We are so grateful for Doctors and medicine that make Andi and I feel better and get over this awful sickness! Watch out Colb... I believe your next :) So to everyone who reads this... as crazy as it sounds you CAN get strep throat in June and to make things even more crazier... your little animals can get it too!

Little Miss Andi

Andi LOVES the sun!! She is my baby after all! She will ring her bell (which is what she does when she wants to go potty or play outside) and she will walk until the sun hits her back and then she plops right down in the sun and just lays there! In our apartment its one big back yard for everyone so she usually only gets to go out and go potty and then has to come back in. Today she kept ringing her bell so I let her out thinking she must REALLY have to go do her thing... no.. just wanted to lay in the sun haha so we both decided to lay out. We can't get enough of this warm weather!

Summer 2010

I finally got a new car!! It's a Dodge Nitro.. I kinda feel like I betrayed my family by getting a Dodge but I LOVE IT!! Many people know I use to own a Jetta... well it was slowly dying after having it for 6 years. The A/C didn't work, no stereo, it would grind when going into gears, it would cut out and lose power so I'd have to pull over until it decided to go again and many many MANY more things were wrong so Colby and I decided it was time for a new one! It's a funny story how I decided I wanted this little SUV. It was like when I saw my wedding ring for the first time.. I just knew I wanted it! We weren't even looking at cars and we saw one in Cedar but it was lifted and had wheels but the same color as mine and I told Colb that when I get a car I wanted it just like the one we had seen. Well I don't think he thought I was serious until I started pricing them out on KSL and looking at dealers and what not. Well I went up with my parents to my nephew Drey's kindergarten graduation. (we decided not to look up north and that we would look in southern Utah.) I went up to Lehi not expecting to go car shopping at all but I think my dad was a little more excited about a new car then I was (at the time). We pulled into Riverton Chevrolet and there it was right as we pulled in.. and the rest is History :) but we LOOOVE IT! It took Colby a while to warm up to it but now... he always wants to drive so... I think he likes it more then me some days :)

No more blogging!

So i've basically been on the computer all afternoon trying to figure out this blogging stuff and my sweet Andi has been so patient all day! She finally jumped up on my lap and looked at me with this look. Doesn't it just say "NO MORE BLOGGING!!" I love her attitude.. reminds me of... her dad :)

I have been so against blogging because lets be honest I don't have a human child to blog about and Colb's and my life are the same every day.. unless we go on vacation. Anyway so I was doing my sister in laws hair, Amberley and she is like the blogging goddess and gives me crap for not keeping up on my blog so I'm doing this for her :) she told me that its totally okay to blog about my dog so that's what I'm going to do! The other night Colby had a softball game and it was FREEEEEEEZING so I dressed Andi in her pink little fury coat so she would stay somewhat warm at the game. We got to our apartment and I set her on the ground with her coat on, so I could get changed into some warm clothes. Well she always follows me around our house but this day she was no where to be found. I found her in the exact same spot that i set her down at. She was walking side ways and just acting really funny. So I walked down the hall way and called to her to come see me and she walked behind the door and stuck her head out like.. "uh no I'm not coming out in this outfit!" I was laughing so hard that I could hardly call her to me! She finally came and when she did she walked right up against the wall with her head down. It was hilarious! :( So my little "princess" dog that was going to be dressed up all the time with clothes and bows gets humiliated by girly stuff... sad day for me! She's a tomboy and it breaks my heart! ha ha

Okay, Okay so I'm going to start this blogging thing for REAL this time. Hopefully sooner then later I will get it all figured out! I'm slowly learning how to add and take away stuff from my blog so if there is ever a time you get on and there's a HUGE blown up picture of something random... don't panic its just me trying to figure out what the heck is going on!! So here is a picture of my wonderful family! Colby, me and our little princess Andi. Together we make a family and I'm starting to think we are complete with just us :) :) Colby is starting to get so busy with Nocks (for those who don't know what Nocks is; its his archery shop that he owns) Its starting to get into the hunting season.. for most normal people. (our hunting season never ends or begins its a constant thing in our family) but he does love every minute he is in there. I'm staying busy with hair. Of coarse its hit and miss but I'm very grateful for my clients they are the best in the world and they are why I love my job! Andi is gr owning up so fast! And is more high maintenance then EVER!!! She wont eat her dog food.... lovely right?? So I took her to the Dr. and he tells me she has ME trained :( so basically I'm a push over and when she doesn't eat her food I cook her chicken... I can't let my baby starve! So now she is on a very strict diet :( which breaks my heart cause she is so hungry and I know every time she tries to eat her dog food she's gagging deep down. She doesn't even really eat it, she just hides it through out our house. Even though she has all these little quirks she is still the high light of mine and Colb's life. We love her so much and she is the bestest little princess we could have ever asked for!
